It's pretty safe to say that Angelina Jolie falls into the action heroine category, Bosnian war weeper projects notwithstanding. Two Lara Croft movies, Salt, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Wanted—heck, throw in Gone in 60 Seconds if you feel like it—and you have a babe who, generally speaking, has kicked enough ass to join those other Ladies Who Punch.
Oh, and Sigourney Weaver?
Yes, thanks to the Alien franchise.
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Garner both have drop-kicked enough attackers on TV to more than earn their membership. And don't count out fighting femmes on the other side of the sea, lest Michelle Yeoh or Zhang Ziyi pummel you in your sleep.
