AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 06: Kirk Penney o...Image by Getty Images via @daylifeThere's bare grass, just six tents, and a couch left where the Occupy Auckland movement had been camped out in Aotea Square. But the protest seems to have moved, in piecemeal fashion, to other locations. Another half dozen tents are across the road, on the other side of the Town Hall, at 360 Queen Street. And some are in Victoria Park. The protestors had been in Aotea Square for two months before being ordered by a court to go on Friday. The Occupy movement started in Wall Street as a protest against corporate greed, and has spread around the world.

POLL: Is Kate Middleton Pregnant?

kate middleton pregnant with twins
Is Kate Middleton is pregnant with Twin of Boy and Girl?

There are reports in eminent international magazines that Kate Middleton is pregnant with a twin of boy and girl. However, the Buckingham Palace denied the news and announced it a complete rumour. She is not expecting presently, leave alone the rumours of twins.

Star magazine raising rumours of Kate's pregnancy third time this year.

“William almost collapsed with joy – and relief – when Kate called to tell him she was pregnant,” the magazine mentioned a unnamed source.

The magazine quoted that Buckingham Palace is very happy on first-ever royal twins. "Doctors confirmed the exciting baby news exactly 100 days after the April 29 royal wedding." According to the so-called source of magazine.

But Buckingham Palace spokesman denied that the Gossip Cop has any authentic information.

There is a previous pattern of royal pregnancies. According to this pattern Princess Diana, Prince William's mother, conceived five months after her wedding, in July 1981, and even Prince William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, was married in November 1947 and gave birth to Prince Charles in a year.

Therefore, it is evident that Kate Middleton is under extreme pressure to conceive an heir to the throne shortly because the world is waiting for that news.

But Kate and William are presently enjoying their own delightful, romantic moments, by visiting North America and enjoying home-cooked meals, laughing over silly comedies and spending time together.

Cheerleaders Censored Wrong Breast Cancer T-Shirts

Administrators at Gilbert High School in Gilbert, Arizona believed that pink t-shirts for Cheerleaders because of the inappropriate slogan. The t-shirts were meant to raise money for breast cancer research. The t- shirts speak the slogan “Feel for lumps, save your bumps,”
The Cheerleaders would have planned to wear these inappropriate t-shirts during the school’s football games while performing cheers on the field and collecting charity from the crowd.
Gaylee Skowronek, the club president, informed the Arizona Republic that the administration supported the squad’s plan to collect charity funds. Later the school’s principal, J. Charles Santa Cruz, pointed out the slogan on the shirts as inappropriate and banned the costume for cheerleaders.
Ashlee, 16, a member of the squad said “We thought the shirt was age-appropriate,” Skowronek said.
“I think it’s hypocritical they would approve a fundraiser for breast-cancer research but they won’t approve a shirt to bring awareness to breast cancer.”
“All we want to do is support the cause and raise money for breast-cancer research,”
These edgy messages have already caused a whip on raising funds for breast cancer research. The Keep a Breast Foundation is already making bracelets and t-shirts that display the slogan “I [heart] Boobies” and distribute among the young people with the objective of raising breast cancer awareness. Many school districts across the U.S. have already banned the bracelets. Although a federal judge in Pennsylvania decided that public school students have rights to wear these inappropriate bracelets.

NYPD Arrests 700 #OccupyWallStreet Protesters On The Brooklyn Bridge

Protesters started marching up the pedestrian walk way over the bridge while others tried to take the traffic lane. For a few minutes officers held the line and then they turned around and led the way up the traffic lane on the Brooklyn Bridge. From what I saw no police told any of the protesters to leave until they created a barricade in front of the march about halfway through the bridge. They then pulled vans and buses up to the back of the group and started arresting everyone.

In total over 700 people were arrested.

@Fringe111 Um... huh? What part of my comment suggests that I'm a member of the Tea Party? How judgmental of you.

The Tea Party holding signs like your example are discrediting themselves too. Unless both of the groups get the loony extremists out of the limelight then they'll both look stupid and not credible.
nothing980454 11 minutes ago

@ScizRgaming $4.6 million still buys influence. NYPD could cut their budget by $4.6 mil/ yr by eliminating the jobs of the officers that entrapped the peaceful protesters. NYPD caused unneeded disruption to traffic & the legal system by arresting them on the bridge. Shouldn't have been arrested at all. They could've easily redirected them from the bridge to a less obstructive area to march rather than tying up the bridge for hours. It makes the protesters and supporters more determined. peace

$4.6 Million is nothing more than JPMorgan Chase trying to get a good name for themselves.

Don't use that argument. It's fucking retarded. It's .1% of their entire budget. Don't act like that has any affect.

I swear, you guys just throw away logical thinking when arguing such idiotic points.

@lighthouse500 Yes. Yes I am blind. Thanks for holding me back from overcoming my visual challenges :( t

The police blocked the bridge once they were on it, they never had to go on it. if they stayed on the sidewalk, fine, but they went right into the street to obstruct traffic.

NYPD Appear to Demonstrate Protesters Violating Order

Last week, we ran a video showing the Occupy Wall Street protests in which some "white shirted" NYPD officers appeared to unnecessarily pepper spray demonstrators. This time, the rules of demonstration were different --- don't walk on the street portion of the Brooklyn Bridge. NYPD issued orders; protesters did it anyway. And they were arrested. About 700-800 of them. The protestors claim the police lured them into the orange grating. Watch and decide for yourself.

Here are several other perspectives:

By contrast, this is a much longer video which along with another suggests the police led the protesters up on the bridge. The narrative on You Tube states:

Protesters started marching up the pedestrian walk way over the bridge while others tried to take the traffic lane. For a few minutes officers held the line and then they turned around and led the way up the traffic lane on the Brooklyn Bridge. From what I saw no police told any of the protesters to leave until they created a barricade in front of the march about halfway through the bridge. They then pulled vans and buses up to the back of the group and started arresting everyone.

In total over 700 people were arrested.

Is Facebook Charging Users or Is It Just Another Viral Hoax?

Image representing Facebook as depicted in Cru...Image via CrunchBase The latest rumor circulating online asserts that Facebook will begin charging users for membership. The rumor is gaining traction due to a chain message hoax spreading virally, although the company promises "It's free and always will be."

The latest rumor circulating asserts Facebook will begin charging users for membership in a chain message hoax spreading virally, although the company promises “It’s free and always will be.”

The message comes shortly after Facebook rolled out an overhaul of new changes including Timeline profiles along with a revamped homepage.

A few versions of the chain message stating that Facebook will begin charging for the profile changes have been spreading through status updates, since the new changes emerged early last week.

"THIS IS OFFICIAL... IT WAS EVEN ON THE NEWS... FACEBOOK WILL START CHARGING DUE TO THE NEW PROFILE CHANGES... IF YOU COPY THIS ON YOUR WALL YOUR ICON WILL TURN BLUE AND FACEBOOK WILL BE FREE FOR YOU. PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE ON, IF NOT YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE DELETED IF YOU DO NOT PAY!!" one message read.

Another message outlined the false membership subscription prices and the ability to opt out of the charge by re-posting the message.

"FACEBOOK JUST RELEASED THEIR PRICE GRID FOR MEMBERSHIP. $9.99 PER MONTH FOR GOLD MEMBER SERVICES, $6.99 PER MONTH FOR SILVER MEMBER SERVICES, $3.99 PER MONTH FOR BRONZE MEMBER SERVICES, FREE IF YOU COPY AND PASTE THIS MESSAGE BEFORE MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. WHEN YOU SIGN ON TOMORROW MORNING YOU WILL BE PROMPTED FOR PAYMENT INFO...IT IS OFFICIAL IT WAS EVEN ON THE NEWS. FACEBOOK WILL START CHARGING DUE TO THE NEW PROFILE CHANGES"

While there's no telling where the chain message began, it is not the first time Facebook has been the target of hoaxes surrounding charging users to maintain their membership on the social network. Many bogus chain messages and groups, like one group created in 2010 called "300,000 MEMBERS NEEDED TO STOP FACEBOOK FROM CHARGING £/$14.99 A MONTH," have put forth the assertion that Facebook will no longer remain a free service.

The ongoing rumor continues to resurface every so often, regardless of the fact that Facebook has a message on its homepage reading, "It's free and always will be," when prompting its 800 million users to log in.

The chain message stating Facebook will charge a fee is proven to be just a hoax, as Facebook's advertising revenue is expected to reach $4.27 billion in 2011, according to ZDNet.

Naked Protest on Wall Street 2011 (Video)

Naked Protest on Wall Street
A group of 50 artists and supporters angry with Wall Street descended lower Manhattan this morning dressed as bankers only to quickly strip down and then disappear within minutes. Metro New York report:

“By 7:03 am they were naked.

By 7:05 am they were clothed, disappeared and the performance, the vision of Zefrey Throwell, was finished.

‘I’m trying to illuminate a dark cranny in the financial world,’ said Throwell, 35, an artist and self-proclaimed ‘troublemaker’ who lives in Chinatown.

Throwell organized the performance after watching his mother lose her entire life savings in the stock market crash of 2008 and then saw Wall Street remain the same.

‘Its been three years and nothing has changed,’ Throwell said. ‘It’s still mysterious.’”

The “performers” stuck it to the man by stripping from Trinity Church down to the Water at South Street. While some performers call it art, witnesses disagree:

“Angelo Sarango, 32, a window cleaner from New Jersey was working on Wall Street when he saw the performance.

‘It didn’t look like art,’ Sarango said. ‘People do that all the time on the subway.’”

There are video out there, but we won’t show them to. At least three of the performers were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Hair Loss in Women is caused by Divorce, Study Findings

Hair Loss in Women Hair Loss in Women Hair Loss in Women
Divorce is not always a pleasant thing, and you don’t really need a study to tell you that.

While the end of a marriage isn’t an entirely abnormal circumstance, it seems that women who have endured the circumstance may be at risk for another, less expected result- hair loss. Loss of spouse through divorce isn’t the only factor that triggers hair loss- death of a spouse can cause the symptom as well. And while stress seems to be the connecting thread for the two, a new study indicates both may have a strong impact on hair loss in women.

Genetics remains the biggest factor for hair loss in women, but the second strongest predictor of the symptom of thinning hair is loss of a spouse. Dr. Bahman Guyuron, department of plastic surgery chair at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and lead author of the study commented on environmental factors versus life stressors and female hair loss.

Ruby Rose Bares All for PETA and MAXIM

The 25-year-old DJ admitted to Fox FM's Matt and Jo this morning she decided to strip down for a People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) campaign because she thought it was something she could be proud of. The charity shoot is a joint effort between PETA and MAXIM magazine and will feature a nude Rose on the front cover.

She has been offered huge money in the past to do nude photo shoots in men's magazines but could not see the point.

"It's one of those things where when I'll be older I'll think back and be really glad that I did that," Rose said. "Whereas just posing nude for a lot of money, well, I don't think that's something that sits on my tick list." She also admitted her mum would not "love the idea" of her posing for a magazine if it was not for a good cause. Rose's management at Six Degrees confirmed to ninemsn she was not paid for the PETA shoot.

Kelley Blue Book Warns of Scam Using Company Name, Logos

What's the Kelly Blue Book on the LFA?Image by Rob Poetsch via FlickrThe "guaranteed buyer-protection program" scam that is now using KBB's name and images is itself not new. Essentially, a scammer will list a fake car on a legitimate car-listing site; after making contact with potential buyers and setting up a backstory to justify the need for a quick sale and the inability to conduct the transaction in person -- usually a divorce or military deployment -- the "seller" will move the financial transaction part of the deal to a fraudulent third-party site that boasts guaranteed buyer protection from purportedly legitimate sites, such as KBB. Modern iterations of the scam even employ live chat and 800 numbers to put marks at ease. The buyer is then instructed to wire partial or full payment to a fraudulent third-party site masquerading as a legitimate one, at which point -- you guessed it -- the money, fake car and seller all disappear.

Bachmann dismisses Obama jobs plan

Bachmann dismisses Obama jobs plan
Republican presidential contender Michele Bachmann has criticised President Barack Obama's plan to create jobs.
She said Mr Obama's approach amounts to more "failed gimmicks".

The Minnesota congresswoman said the plan Mr Obama outlined to Congress would further hurt the struggling US economy.

A tea party favourite, Mrs Bachmann said that even if Congress passes Mr Obama's jobs plan, it will fail.

She said Mr Obama is "politically paralysed" and "philosophically incapable of doing what needs to be done".

Mr Obama proposed a 447 billion US dollar jobs package that includes a payroll tax cut for all workers, a payroll tax cuts for most business, and spending for construction projects.

Mrs Bachmann did not attend the president's speech and said she listened on the radio because her flight to Washington was delayed.

A major power outage knocked out electricity to more than 2 million people in California, Arizona and Mexico on Thursday, bringing San Diego and Tijuana to a standstill and leaving people sweltering in the late-summer heat in the surrounding desert.

Two nuclear reactors were offline after losing electricity, but officials said there was no danger to the public or workers.

San Diego bore the brunt of the blackout that started shortly before 4 p.m. PT.; most of the nation's eighth-largest city was darkened. All outgoing flights from San Diego's Lindbergh Field were grounded and police stations were using generators to accept emergency calls across the area.

Late Thursday, power was restored to some residents in southern California. But officials said most of the others who'd been affected would remain without power all night.

The power company, Arizona Public Service, didn't immediately explain the procedure and were investigating why the outage wasn't contained.

The outage extended from southern parts of Orange County to San Diego to Yuma, Arizona. It also affected cities south of the border across much of the state of northern Baja. Border officials said crossings into California are open.
