The official website for the awards revealed Friday that Park andKim received nominations for their roles in KBS’ musical TV series“Dream High,” a joint production between entertainment firms KEYEASTand JYP Entertainment, while Taecyeon was selected for his role in KBS’“Sister of Cinderella.”
Other notable nominees in the same category included Kim Soung-ofrom SBS’ hit series “Secret Garden” and Park Yuchun for his role inKBS’ historical drama “SungKyunKwan Scandal.”
This year’s PaekSang Arts Awards, into its 47th edition, will takeplace at the Peace Palace located in Kyung-hee University of Seoul onMay 26.
Park and Kim both starred in “Dream High” which tells of the dreamsof students who attend a performing arts school aimed at cultivatingcelebrities. The show brought in high viewership ratings during its runfrom early January to late February this year in the Monday and Tuesdaynights primetime slot.
“Sister of Cinderella,” which aired from March 31 to June 3 lastyear, is about the un-fairytale-like story of Cinderella’s sister whichalso starred Korean actors Moon Geun-young, Chun Jung-myung and Seo Woo.
